I am a visual and socially engaged artist who explores themes of body, movement, and place. I’m especially interested in the physicality of emotional experiences and how those experiences live within the body waiting to be released.
After dancing competitively during my childhood and early adulthood, I received my bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. The following summer, I drove accross the country to move to Long Beach, CA, where I worked as a social worker in the mental health, addiciton, and cognitive health fields.
In 2023, I spent a year in Paris, France, and recieved my MA in Drawing at Paris College of Art, and am now living in Portland, OR working towards an MFA in Art in Social Practice from Portland State University.
My work is oscilating between personal practices through visual art, and socially engaged projects often collaborating with artists in community.
